Things are looking up.

Before I go on, I will tell my story for the past year. Last year before my junior year started, I wasn't getting along with my father very well and on top of that my mother had a near death experience and was in the hospital for a month and spend another 2 months recovering in physical therapy at our friends house. I was basicly on my own for a month. On top of that my grades were turning to shit and I was pushed over the edge by my dad so I left to be on my own. I worked for my mother while she was in the hospital trying to earn us some money and save the business. Shortly after I dropped out of school... well unofficially, I basicly just stopped going. I went to get my liscense for my car as all this was happening so I could get a better means of transportation other than my motorcycle.

Now last Friday I recieved the results of a test I took. Its called the
CHSPE High School Proficiency Examination and passed. Passing this test is basicly as good as getting a deploma from high school in the state of california. I was so happy, it occured to me that I didn't drop out of school... I had finnished early! So that day I went to the office and officially signed out and completed High School. I dicided to visit my favorite teacher as well. I walked on into his classroom with all of my old friends and whatnot and asked if I could talk to him. We step into his office and talk for 10 minutes and he set me up for a job at a winery on the edge of town.

So this morning I go and talk to the boss of this place and everything goes good.. I later learned that he actually requested employees from my teacher that he sought fit to work for him! We talk for 15 minutes about me, my driving record, what the job will require physically and emotionally and how flexable I would have to become because of the working hours. It felt as though he had already hired me for the job and he should give me a call between today or a couple of days and set me up!

It feels like everything is finally comming together and I am so happy things turned out alright. I can finally start my life the way I want it to be.

Re: Things are looking up.

Congrats man. Glad to see things perk up. This may not be they way of everybody, but the way I got my life started was that I joined the Air Force. Free medical and dental and they pay for schooling, can't beat that, plus a steady paycheck
