My 93' just turned 124,000 miles and has had a resonating rattle ever since I turned 60,000. after numerous attemps to find the source I am asking all of you. Where is the best place to start the trouble shoot. Is this common. Or is it even a heat shield at all. The Cat maybe, or a exhaust baffel. The rattle is heard in transition through 2400 rpm not if that makes a difference. I have never worked on my car and and have only heard horror stories about doing it. 8 hours toyota charges me for a timing belt. That is a whole other issue thanks.
