Re: Pictures of my car

I like the coating on the exhaust manifold. the other changes are subtle, but nicely done

Re: Pictures of my car

thats the intake manifold, on the TC and other quad 4s the exhaust manifold is on the firewall side of the motor.

Re: Pictures of my car

Did that intake manifold bolt right on? Or was there some fabrication needed?

Re: Pictures of my car

theres some work you need to do, you have to slot out the bolt holds to line up to the LD9 head, then you have to port match the intake manifolds ports to match the b-shaped ports on the LD9 head, or you can use a spacer plate that had the ports already b-shaped. Then you have to use a 2.3L TB (throttle body) and then youll need a throttle calbe bracket for that year TB. if you go to www.quad4forums.com and go to the FAQ youll find the instructions for this to help better understand what you need to do.

Re: Pictures of my car

brain death moment, you'd think after 17 years in the parts business, I'd know an intake from an exhaust. Sheesh, I'm gonna go lie down now. ;-)

Yea i know that kid, his car is pretty nice. But id rather put 700 dollars + cost of paint into the motor and performance of the car, then put on a bodykit.

I agree i would love to enhance the performance on my 2002 or even my 88 and keep them stock looking but money would be the issue for me, maybe i'll get lucky when i'm able to move.
