ok this is soo gay i keep eating up my front bushings

i have replaced every motor bushing and the new front one keeps breaking soo now im puting Energy Suspension in the bushings soo it holds harder. but dose any one know why it keeps breaking the front bushing mount on the tranny? what dose every one think of Energy Suspension? i have everything you can buy from them on the car and it looks sweet but im not sure if there much dif in feel and ride.

Can you describe further? Which bushing exactly? Were they installed properly and lubed?

the front motor mount the rubber in there jsut keep coming right off all the metal.

i put the prothane motor mount inserts in all of my bushings, it works great, but man does my car vibrate like a mother now...

inserts do they have the side ones i have the front and back ones but energy dosen't have the sides. dose some one else have them or is front and back good enough?

Ok reason is the rear one is bad. If the front keeps wearing out your rear motor mount is bad, FIX replace it with new front and rear insert Prothane inserts and never worry about it again. BTW you dont need the front one motor mount friend drove his boosted (10psi) 89 civic for 2 years with out one just using the rear prothane cause they hosed the front mount beating the front crossmember to clear the header pipe.

yeah i've ran with out it for quite the while too... its just kinda nice to have it there b/c it limits the movement that much more...

do your motor mounts wear faster when your car is lowered? my friend dropped his hatch like 3 inches and he was going through motor mounts like nothing it might have been a cowidincs did i spell that right?

put the new inserts in and the motor dont move at all i love it and thanks to the guys at summit they only charged me 9 dollors and sent them over night.
