Airbag Question

Here's the story..
I own a 95 240sx which I am swapping the s14 into blah blah. I had a horrible day on july 27 and deployed my airbags via brick mailbox. The 240 is not trashed because damage is only cosmetic and i wanted a new front end anyways. So if I buy a new steering wheel with airbag in it and I replace dash, will the motor swap help the airbag reinsertion? I am just hoping it will not be thousands of dollars to do.. Any feedback will help. Thanks!

how the fuck do you hit a mailbox and deploy the airbags? I only knew one kid who did that and he is a fucking idiot LOL. Seriously though if u ran into a brick mailbox hard enough to deploy the airbag there isprobably more then just cosmetic damage

and why not just buy an aftermarket steering wheel at this point and install that, no airbag!.. probably cheaper even if you get a good wheel then a stock wheel with airbag setup, those airbags can be expensive as shit.

Well I am an idiot for having balding back tires. It was of course monsooning here in florida while I was delivering a few pizzas and I lost traction around a very simple corner. The mailbox is only one foot off of the road. And about the steering wheel, I am going to get an aftermarket one. The silvia s15 wheel. So you say no airbags at all????

ya go with an aftermarket w/no airbags my cuz got done replacing them and they are expensive even if u go to a junk yard and find some they are like 5-6 hundred

but if you get pulled over and have a steering wheel with no airbag in a car that previously HAD an airbag....well then u get fucked with a ticket
