Zero Tolerance?

Well, i've got an opportunity to buy an '88 Supra, but the guy says that the timing belt slipped at some point, and won't start. However, I don't know what to do. I was wondering if the 88 Supra (Non-turbo) engines are zero tolerance, thus completely ruining the engine.

Please answer quickly!

Re: Zero Tolerance?

The 7m is a non-interference engine, so everything should be fine once you put it back into time and put a new belt on.
