guage lights

I have a 1998 Grand Am GT. I want to do away with all the orange interior lights including the guages. I was wondering if this was possible. Do you have to replace the whole guage cluster or can you just replace the bulbs?

Re: guage lights

Some of the guages have a clear bulb behind them and the orange is right on the guage itself, this is on the intrument panel and the gear indicator. The power door locks and such have a colored bulb, you will need to replace the entire guages if you want them a different color. The door locks just need a different color bulb.

Re: guage lights

I've only seen a few sites where they had indiglo guages, actually they were on ebay, i had trouble finding them for our year cars. The gear indicator and heater and a/c controls are easily replaced, heres a site that has them... http://www.alloverlays.com/store/vie...?idProduct=133
