Howdy! Sand bags in boot during winter??

Hola!!

been a while since I posted a thread here..

Winter/Snow is about 3.5 months from now in the East Coast. Heard some actually put sand bags in the rear of their camaros (and mustangs) to lower the centre of gravity when driving in snow.. Personally, i have never tried that, though seriously, i hate to say that this dry-road king is kinda less sturdy in snow, probably due to it light ass.
Any one tried sand bags before and find it helpful?

Re: Howdy! Sand bags in boot during winter??

i tried the weight in the hatch the first year my camaro seen snow.. not the best idea, i found that it just made it fishtail more.. if there's snow the back's gonna slide out from under you no matter how slow you drive, especially around corners.. i went without the weight last winter and it handled better.. but thats just my opinion
