i'm back, but my car isn't!!!

HI all , i've been out for a while , did i miss on much ? anyways i was driving my car one some canyons and my left tension rod gave out... yes out . as in out it came and my left tier decided to go the other way. i never drifted any better in my whole life. my friends thought i was doing it on a purpose. see it was something like 2 am and 6 cars deep with a cam corder. i will post the video up, but i cant give a a clue how to do it. it keeps rejecting it because it it too big. if it does not work then i will try to post it on the net. anyways i disappeared somewhere in the bushes down the road. and a couple of aaa calls later my car is in front of my house... what happened ??? i have a tein tie rod an tension arms but i think since i hit my frame couple of month a go the unbalanced chassis may have increased tension on the left side of my car and all it needed was a nice jerk to disconnect the mounting points from the radiator support!! i'm taking it to a shop tomorrow.....

i also got a t28 bb and boosting 1 bar. (have a front mount but no BOV) do i need a BOV is the stock one ok? (i like being a sleeper ) let me know.... tanks all BTW i'm ok i'll post pix soon!!

tnxs

Re: i'm back, but my car isn't!!!

Asking if you need a BOV is like asking if you want that new turbo to last for a while. I would recommend it. Especially running 1bar. That is hell on the CHRA.

Re: i'm back, but my car isn't!!!

According to Tat, the type-s is still audible even if recirculated as long as you have a high-flow filter. What kind of sound are you or are you not looking for?

Re: Re: Re: i'm back, but my car isn't!!!

you can use the stock one but it won't hold more than 10psi, or .7 bar (it will start leaking). the stock one is made of cheap plastic. get a nice aluminum one.

there are plenty of recirculating bov's to choose from, just take a look around. if you don't want it loud, you want it recirculating at the very least.
