Re: broken seat
It is an easy repair, first feel under the seat for the motor that runs the seat in the direction that it does not move. go to the cable on the side that isnt moving, remove it from the motor, remove the drive cable from the center of the plastic housing, shorten the housing by cutting a piece of it out, generally about an inch, spice the housing back together with a piece of 3/8 fuel line, reinstall the drive cable and reinstall to the motor housing. that will work of any of the cables of this type on the seat. Oh and make sure the seat is level when reinstalling the cable, you can do this by moving it with the cable unhooked.

Re: broken seat
I have the same problem with my seat but don't understand what the problem is. The motor sounds like it's trying to lift but just can't. Also, why removing the cable then shortening it? Thanks so much for your help.
