2001 S-10 Brake pedal feel-Is this normal?
The brake pedal feel on my S-10 is very "hard". It feels like you have to press very hard in order to get the brakes to work. I drove another GM product yesterday(2003 Buick Regal)and the feel on it's brakes was perfect. Ever since I got the truck(9 months ago)the brake pedal has been like this and I thought it was just the way Chevrolet brakes were. My other vehicle's(2000 Neon,95 Explorer)are what I call a "normal" brake pedal feel. The pads and rear shoes are wearing "normal",so it's not the pads or shoes. Is there something I can do about this or is this normal? Thanks! John

Bleed Your Brake System In Case There Is Debris In Your Brake Lines And Adjust Your Rear Drum Brakes If Your Truck Has Them. Also Check Your Brake Lines To Make Sure They Are Not Pinched.

This is normal.
Blazer's are very heavy vehicles for their size and require a lot of effort to stop. |
