Weird Scary noise at low speed steering
Hey everybody, I got a serious question here, hope yall can help me figure it out. I have a 93 base model. Whenever I back up or go forward while parking, or at low speed, my front left side always make some weird noise when I turn the steering wheel, especially when I steer left. It sounds like metal-to-metal rubbing sound, or sometimes it even makes cracking or popping sound. Is it because I'm low on power-steering fluid? But I checked the level and it seemed ok. Or is it because my steering axle is messed up? I'm too scared to drive now.

it could be your axle,i've changed both front ones in my car since i bought it used.if it's just metal to metal sound,it could be something as little as your dust cover rubbing or brake pad indicators.have it checked though.
