She spent $2000 on what???

My wife of 11 years is a terrific person; intellegent, and very capable.

Sure, she is sensible and reasonably frugal, most of the time.
BUT last week she spent $2000 on BRASSIERES...

Yes, $2000 on underwear.

She doesn't seem to think there is anything wrong with this.

She is quite well endowed, in a mammary way

However, she has never been able to find bras that are comfortable. She went for a custom fitting and it turns out her size 38E (woo hoo!!) is not commonly made. So she picked up some really comfortable bras made to fit her size.

This is great, except that she had to get 3 different styles in 3 different colours plus some extras, totalling about 24 bras at close to $100 a pop, for a grand total of $2000!!!

Hey, I'm delighted that she's comfortable, but lets keep things in proportion here! (no pun intended). However, when I try and bring this to her attention, she says no, that since I have 8 cars, 5 motorcycles and a boat, that she is allowed this indulgence. (sigh)
So...should she return a few of them??

Shorten up the straps on some of them by like an inch, then she'll take some back...

Let her have them!
Geez, she's your wife.

The last thing you should be doing is arguing what she can and can't have.

And, if you have 8 cars, 5 bikes AND a boat, let her have what she wants! There is more than 2 grand there I'm sure!

You have 8 cars, 5 cars, and a boat, and you're complaining about her spending $2,000. Selfish much?

Listen, if you are worried about the $2000.00 she spent on bras, then why not sell one of your "toys", then you will get the money back .... you cheap ass !!!

Talk about a midlife crises...but of fuckin underwear?
As long as you didnt let her spend your money....too much.
Remember for every thing you do in a relationship, you will get about 1/2 of that back. (were talking about a marriage here).
Just say this. "You obviously bought them so you could try and seduce me with them, hmmmm....alright since you did pay $2,000 for the underwear....i will LET you show them to me on you."
P.S.- Remember to pause for effect.

two thousand bucks? thats a little much. although considering your love for certain mechanical "toys" i can see how you might be able to afford this certain indulgence.

Re: She spent $2000 on what???

awwww. let the woman feel comfortable...Maybe they are sexy. I know that I may have an abundence of bra's and underware but some of them just make me feel good. Did you ever think of that? She may just want to make herself feel good. Do you're little "toys" make you feel good? Cause, this may help her feel good and there for...sexy, and in the end, you get laid...I wouldn't complain and let her have her bras. IMO

Re: She spent $2000 on what???

Hmmmm.....since you can obviously afford it (judging by the amt of cars/toys YOU have) let her keep them.

I can sympathize with her - I have too much in the boobs dept right now, (and I'm married, so your "OMG PLZ BOOBIE PIX" is useless) so I know how hard it is to find bras. EVEN IF you manage to find some your size at Target, they fit funny, pinch, and don't support the girls...and then they fall apart past a few washings.

With 24 bras at that price...she won't need to buy any more bras for a LOOONG time. Those should last 5-10 years IMHO.

Just consider this a supportive (ha) way of postponing the inevitable sag. See, it benefits you too.

I know what you're going through. I've been to EVERY single place that sells bras and cannot find anything that fits right. The only place that I can find them at is Victoria's Secret because their bra sizes run big. Another thing that works good is to wear a bra, then wear a tank top with the built in support thing. They dont move with those two things.

Alright..Alright....once you ladies are done trying to impress us guys with your "gigantic" boob sizes, us guy will get back to the expensiveness of 24 bra's.

I mean......trying to turn us on over the internet........jeeeezzz.

I mean...its one thing to be nice...but trying to seduce the moderators into giving you more yellow stars....pssshh...typical.
