97 GT starts SOMETIMES
alright heres one for you guys, i have a 97 GT and about two and a half weeks ago i went to start it and it would turn turn turn..but wouldnt start...had it towed to firestone(big mistake i know) and they couldnt find anythin wrong with it and got it to start...two days later..AGAIN didnt want to start..firestone again...they got it to start....this happened two MORE times...took it to a ford dealership and they also got it runnin and cant find out whats wrong with it..in fact it always started for ford right away so they say they cant tell until its dead...tow truck driver the other day couldnt jus tow it..noo he tried to start it and it started right up..i have had diagnostic on top of diagnostic done to this thing...i've been told possibly fuel pump relay, fuel pump, distributor, battery cables...nobody is sure...and its not that it dies or anythin..i can drive it around all fine and dandy...get out for ten min at a store..come back and it wont start...i have a 5spd so when it doesnt wanna start my brake pedal will lock up on me and i can push it in maybe an inch...i dont know if this is related either but the passed two times it didnt start i had jus gotten my tank filled up...has ANYONE had a similar problem..i cant keep gettin it checked out and towed over and over i'm not made of money..if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated..thanks!
