How to enter my code for the radio

On my 325i the battery died on me. After jumpstarting it.The radio is asking me for my CODE. I have the code, but don't know the step by step of inputting the code. Please help.

I just did one last week and I already forgot. I think all you do is when it asks for the code use the buttons that you have your preset radio startions tuned to. Then I belive it enters itself and you dont have to hit any more buttons.

yeah, speaking of which, the radio in my e30 doesn't take my code, even though I know its the right one. I disconnected the battery for about ten minutes, and tried it again, still didn't work. Whats the deal with that?

In regards to the code message on your radio. You have to run the car for 1 hour and then enter your code. If you enter the wrong code 3 times in a row you will have to run it another hour and try again.
