ticket in another country questions
i got a speeding ticket in vancouver bc, i live in southern cali, will i still get points for it? and what happens if i don't pay for the ticket?

u probably will get points for it cus its still you driving and you getting the ticket.... i think the insurance companies that u have here exist in canada too. so maybe the same thing applies with driving laws.
and about if you dont pay for ur ticket......sorry, cant help you with that one. i personally would pay the ticket and get it over with and not anticipate any problems with canada.

I wouldn't worry too much about the points,I very much doubt that Canadian authorities have any jurisdiction over your American licence.As for the fine - pay it,and it's over.Leave it and you risk being hauled up by immigration next time you visit.Big Brother is watching you!
