My car is a 91 mitsubishi eclipse gs. Recently put a new transmission however today it ran low on oil. My light came on and I lost my gas pulled over, checked my oil and it was below the 1st notch on the dipstick. I put a quart and 1/2 in (well 1/2 quart of oil treatment and 1 quart of oil) and that raised it to right above the 1st notch.. Even after that my car wouldnt start. My dad thinks it might be the motor/engine cam (not too sure which it is called), however he won't be able to work on it for a while, can anyone give me any help on either how to fix the cam, what they think might be the problem or anything that would help?!? It would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not actually sure right now whether it cranked or not. But my dad did figure out that I have bent valves and doesnt think its worth fixing... So we are trying to find a transmission for a different eclipse to put in that for me to drive. But thanks for the attempt to help...
