Any other good place to buy cars ither than Ebay?
hey. i was wondering if any of you guys (or girls) knew of a place online were you can buy cars that people are selling other than Ebay. I saw DSMtuners.com and DSMtraders.com but i was wondering if there were any other like those except with imports also or just imports. Any info is great. Thanks

Local. I'd personally never buy a car without giving it a test spin first. Autotrader.com

I frequent the auto auctions and have good luck. Check around in your area for Police/ County impounds/ siezed, The Salvation army also has a good auction. I have picked up a few hondas at great prices. I got a civic a couple of weeks ago with about a 100,000 miles on it for a winning bid of $100. Fair body and super clean interior. The altenator was siezed so the owner left it sit on the street and it was towed. I put a new altenator on it and it runs like a champ.

recycler.com got my '94 Lude VTEC there for $1,500 with 178k miles on a rebuilt engine (5k) had a rough body and the owner had passed away a month before I bought car...

auto trader is where i got my car... prices are just a bit higher than ebay... but you can look within certain milages so you can test drive them... ebay makes it real hard to test drive and that really sucks
