Re: pulsar/astra 87 ecm light how do you reset computer
Either disconnect the battery for more than 10mins or you can ground pins A&B together whilst the ignition is off.
Personnaly, I recommend the battery... |

I done that and there are no codes, now it says that the motor is fine but the ecm light is still on and the fan runs constantly with the ignition on. im getting sparks on all leads but still no go. it did start initially when i first cleared the codes and it seemed fine until i let it idle for a while then it started dying, it was chugging, when i revved it up it was good, then the revs stayed above 2000rpm then slowly went down to the chugging stage. i tried a few times again by disconnecting the battery and earthing A+B but now im in trouble, i replaced the temp sensor(cause of the fan running constantly) and still.... now it wont start at all.
any ideas? |
