1. if an exhaust pipe is say 2 1/2 inches does that make it sound quieter or more ricey than say a 3 inch pipe? and

2. does an exhaust system sound more ricey from inside the car?

What kind of engine are you talking about?

i have a 3.8 firebird and i have a flowmaster 80 series exhaust which is suposed to be the most aggressive sounding, and it sounds farty in the higher rpms, what the fuck!
