Hello, i just baught a 91 z28 and me and my dad are building it up, and i have about 8 months till i turn 16, so im trying to get er' goin. We have taken the steering colum apart, and are attempting to take out the turn signal stick becusae the switch to turn the brights on, has broken..We are just going to replace the signal stick, but we cant seam to get it out of the column..If anyone has any input what so ever please respond as soon as possible..My AIM is guitarpro454 and my email is [email protected]!

welcome to the forum.. Im too lazy to e-mail you and I dont have AIM, but after you get your steering wheel off, take out the clockspring (if airbag equiped) with snapring pliars, take the plate off behind that, then there should be a very small phillips screw holding your signal light clicker in..

instead of getting a whole new signal switch, just take out the piece thats broken, take it down to the chevy dealer and see if they cant get a replacement piece. my bright light switch is broken too and i looked at it and it was just this little plastic piece that was broke

hey guys, thanks alot! I got to the stick..and got everything up hooked, they only problem is now i cant get the stick out of the switch..do i just pull hard? or is there some special way to disocnnect the stick?
