air idle control motor

my 87 5.0 is having a idle hesitation problem. now i unplugged the aic motor while the car was running and nothing changed.. shouldn't the rpms drop and try and stall out. i changed the aic motor a few months ago so its brand new and so is the tps sensor. so my question is is that correct or not and would that have anything to do with the idle problem?could the egr valve be bad and effecting it? thanks for the help..

Re: air idle control motor

Is your TPS sensor adjusted properly?
