Friday Night Out (mild 56k warning)

I just got a new digicam and I was driving by the square and I see a nice little gathering of some local guys with nice classic muscle cars. I asked if pictures were allowed, got the goahead, and went to work.

These are my favorites. I also got some engine shots, a pair of old trucks (a dodge and a ford) were there, and an s2000, which I got a picture of in irony.

A pair of classic mustangs, both with 289's.

Woo wee did I spend a lot of time around this one. A chevelle with a big ol' fuckin 454 in it.

Another old Chevelle

Yes, another Chevelle. There were lots

A yummy GNX. Didnt get to see the engine though.

Unidentified chevy. Bel Aire maybe? It sounded mean.

And a pretty red Nova with a 350.

I'm going to a cruise in tonight... hopefully I can snag some more pictures.

If you want engine pics of most of those (the ones with the hoods popped) im me and I'll give em.

Re: Friday Night Out (mild 56k warning)

I live in a little town called Morgantown, KY. Classic muscle are the only things of interest around here... import meetings are a bunch of badly kitted cavaliers and civics with an eclipse tossed into the mix every now and then.

Re: Friday Night Out (mild 56k warning)

Ah, thanks for the correction

But there was a small amount of rice there... there was something definitely modded out... but he had a huge aftermarket tach... but an automatic. I dont blame him for the automatic, but it seems the aftermarket tach isn't needed...

Lmao, if I were driving rice, I would be very embarrassed to park my car next to those muscle cars.

I would love to see a few Roadrunners and Superbees from time to time but they are so hard to find around here.

My dad use to own both of those cars back in the '70s when he drag raced.

Re: Friday Night Out (mild 56k warning)

UPDATE:

I went to the cruise-in tonight.

I'm absolutely sick of camaros and chevelles after all that. I love classic cars but I dont want the entire parking lot filled with 350's.

That old red Nova was back around, the yellow Bel Aire, a yellow camaro with a 350 bored and stroked to 355, with the guy's wife's 350 camaro...one Cuda, couple of trucks and a monte carlo.

What a bore..

i'm surprised that there was no 442s there. however they all look the same too me. lolz ( maybe i'm too young to see every little difference int he head light design and grill design ) but to me the rear 3/4 panel all looks identical. that chevelle looks very much like a 442 from the rear 3/4

Re: Friday Night Out (mild 56k warning)

yeah, me too.

I also want the Chevy II (didnt post it), regardless if the guy put a tach in it. It's got some huge ass tires on the back (29s) and sounds mean.
