F#*$#n Cruise Control

Anybody out there that had a cruise control that works one day dont the next day. and when it worked when he hit a road bump it would turn off and cant get it to work anymore . if yes what was the trouble. THANKS

you might have a break light out. Check your tail lights.

make sure your brake lights aren't always on. The stoplight switch may be shorted or out of adjustment, which would cause your cruise not to work (it thinks you're constantly on the brakes). IF the brake lights work properly, on when on the pedal, off when pedal is released, then you may have a loose or corroded electrical connection at the cruise module under the hood.
