I'm not sure how much you all know about NZ Politics, but we currently have the typical idiotic center-left government in power at the moment, we've lost a lot of freedoms as it is, but this is taking it too far....

YES, the stupid Commie government now want to take away New Zealanders rights to drive however they like on private property. I can assure you right now, that in my experience, people who drove old British farm hacks when they were 12, up until they got thier license to drive on public roads are FAR more competent drivers than those who learnt to drive the normal way.


Then there's the issue of reckless driving- Who gets endangered other than the person driving the car? It's just the stupid government trying to look "moral" when all thier doing is taking away freedoms because some dumbasses killed themselves by rolling a 4WD, because they couldn't drive the thing. And what about Autocrossers? What the fuck are they supposed to do? That sport does more good than it does bad.

At the rate we're going the police will be waiting on the back straight of Pukekoe (sp) with a radar gun before we know it.
