Angry Ok, time for you guys to give me a hand

Well, ever since I got the new geozuki together, I have no blower motor. I ran all the wiring myself, and everything is kosher. I put a fuse in the fuse block for the blower motor, I turn the ignition to on, an *POP*goes the fuse, wether the blower motor is turned on or off. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen with a bad switch, or a bad blower resistor. I dunno if it ever worked before(car came with no motor) so I'm trying to rule things out. Thanks. Also, does anyone have a spare "tube" that gues from the blower motor to the heater core? I removed my A/C, and now I have a gaping hole there, heh.

All hope is lost if Geozukigti is asking US for help. Uhh let's see here... off the top of my head, you know Metros have an odd way of wiring things (one fuse marked for one thing controls about 5 things), perhaps something is grounded that shouldn't be, though I doubt you would overlook something like that. Metros also have issues with the blower resistor failing making the switch only work in one position. I would check it for functionality, as well as double check your wiring for a possible exposed ground wire touching something metallic. As for the tube, I got a friend parting out an 90 Metro LSi HB, though I'm not sure which tube you are referring (HVAC - not my thing). If you got a picture, I will try to pick you one up. Also, send me some pics if you want me to add your new vert to the User's Rides section of my site.

Let me try...

I am gonna help Geozukigti just because he is a nice guy! Hah! At least that he thinks!

I would try the blower motor outside directly to an electrical source (like an extra battery). I usually test electrical things directly.. you know, one of those father's advice. The reason for this is because I think the blower is short (mainly reason why you drop them). If it is short, ta tannn!.. swap it! If not.. we have a problem here!. Let me know pal, we will make that metro blow!!!
