Brake light

In the morning when I first pull out of the driveway, I will apply the brake and hear a noise from the front passanger brakes, then the brake light on the dash will go on. Only does it first thing, then it will go out and everything is normal. Any suggestions on why this is happening? Thanks

My 2001 LX does the same exact thing on occasion. Usually after the van has sat a day or two & only while backing up. The rear brakes howl & the parking brake light will light up for 30sec or so & then go out. My brakes are 100% all the way around. I'm guessing *some* surface rust forms in the rear drums when the van sits in the dampness, causing the shoes to stick a bit in reverse. Not sure how this sets off the parking brake light though!?!
G/luck
