Adding rear anti-sway bar 2000 Lesabre

Hello,

I have a 2000 Lesabre limited non touring package and I want to make the ride more like it has the touring package. It seems to sway left to right a lot especially when I drive over where they have just removed the asphalt and the road is grooved. Much more than my Bonneville.

I just increased the wheels from 15" to 17" and that made a difference. Now I am wondering if I can add the rear anti-sway bar by just buying the sway bar and the connecting parts or is the chasis a totally different setup when the car comes factory with the touring package?

What kind of performance gain handling could I expect?

Would I do better going with the stiffer struts like on the touring package or the park avenue?

What size 17's did you put on the Lesabre?
Sorry that I can't help you with the sway bar but I think that the Bonnie might share some suspension components. Check with a junk yard that will let you return a Bonnie sway bar if it won't work.

They were 17"X7.5. Just like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT I never thought to try salvage yards but they have the best cross reference system around. The dealership was no help at all...
