Help!!! CAI problem
I just recently installed a CAI into my 2001 civic ex auto tran. When i took it out to drive it ran smooth but then when it hit 5000 rpms it took off and never came down. Now when i turn on the engine it shoots up to 5000 rpms and stays there. I tried killing the battery and resetting the fuse. I dont know what else to do. Need some good advise guys.

Reinstall your old intake, reset your ecu, and see if it still cuts off that low. This will help narrow the problem to the intake, because who knows, maybe you knocked some other things loose on the engine. If the car works fine after putting that one, reinstall the cai, reset the computer, and make sure all vacuum hoses are connected tight.
