good car for under 4g

i have saved up about 4 grand. whats a good imported car thats also low on insurance since i turned 16 not too long ago.

Ditto on the 'Stang 5.0. No, it's not an import. Yes, it's a fast, cheap, reliable car.

If you really gotta have an import, go for a 1st gen. 240SX hatchback, 1st gen. AWD turbo DSM, or 3rd gen. RX-7 Turbo II.
