R34 front bumper, help (ZTS)

sup yall,
i was looking around for front bumpers and saw the R34. I think I might buy it, but before i do i was searching around and looking at other peoples focuses and this one guy had the R34 and he said he had to cut the frame to make the R34 bumper fit. Can anyone tell me, who has the R34 front bumper or knows information about it, if i would realy have to cut into the frame to make it fit? I own a 2000 Focus ZTS.

Re: R34 front bumper, help (ZTS)

Dear Blueflame162, i installed an r34 bumper onto my 2001 focus zx3. There is no cutting of anything on the car involved. You may need to trim the bumper a little, as no 2 are exactly the same, but the involves a hacksaw and about 2 seconds to do. However, the metal bumper on the car itself dose tend to protrude into the holes of the R34 bumper. I solved this by just changing it from large mesh to ultra fine silver mesh. You can't see the metal bumper behind it and it looks gorgeous. Good luck. Peace
