Procharger Supercharger for 98 3.8L Mustang

How much HP could i expect my bone stock Mustang to have if i installed a Procharger blower with 11 Psi?.Ive heard you only get like a 35% increase which is like around 180-200 HP which isnt that much since my Stang has 150 right now..is it worth the money???

I don't know about power, but the whirrr of a supercharger would sound pretty bad-assed.

Hmmm... for no too much more than the procharger is going to cost you, you could check around stangnet.com and corral.net classified for a modular v8. You'll get more bang for your buck that way.

Yeah you should look into the 4.6 SOHC V8 you can do a lot more with it.

do you ever autocross or track your V6? its quite a wonderful car once you track it.

you can make 400hp+ form the 3.8l what else do you need? you still have the lower insurance of teh v6 and you dont need to get atnother car to make the power. the 3.8 is a great motor

How much money would you have to spend to make 400hp+ on the 3.8 liter?

How is 35% 180-200 hp gain? I went to the web site and they said at 11psi on the v6 stang, it's a hp gain of 80% top. Current hp on the stang 150 multiplied by .80percent increase = 120hp 120+150=270hp. That's what your looking at realistically.

I think he meant gaining from 150 to 180-200 with the carger installed
