03 Malibu LS Service Vehicle Soon light

Hi all, I am new here. Please help me out. I, personally dislike the DRL (Daytime Running Lights.) So in order to disable them, I rip out relay #23, the DRL's stop working, like I want, then the annoying Service Vehicle Soon light comes on the dash. Is there a way I can have the DRL relay out, AND get rid of the Service Vehicle soon light at the same time? Thanks for the help!

Just my opinion but I like ther DRLs. There are a safety feature that you cant even see. They are very helpful when the sun is setting or rising it can blind other drivers but the DRL help make you more visable. Why would go and start jacking things up? LOL

You have to remember that even items such as the DRL and fog lights are computer controlled, to attempt to modify any of the new systems or subsystems whithout a wiring diagram, and knowledge of how these systems inter-relate can lead to problems.

"This is not your fathers Malibu" as the comercial goes....

I agree, DTL save lives.
