95 trans.....interchange???

I have a 95 Windstar.....yes the worst one.
Well trans has acted up...sliping into 2nd alot for about a year now. But tonite I saw dripping (quite a bit) from the front seal on the trans or converter. So now I am really upset.
I need to know if the trans out of the 3.8 96+ will work without too much change. Cause the 95 are all junk so I really dont want to get one from a junk yard since they were all junk new anyway.
Anyone have any ideas??

this may sound wierd but i have a 99, 3.8 windstar with the same trans as my 92 sable gs. i found out the hard way what it was when the pangasket let out on me. it works great.
