TS-49 (bright red)
HI, peeps...
Well, I bought a kit today that requires this paint (guess which kit ). Problem: can't find it anywhere. Even HLJ doesn't carry it!!! What to do??? ![]() OK, not that I will be building this kit in the near future... But I still need a couple of cans. Maybe our friends in Finland can help me out on this one? If not... I have no idea what to do, and the car wouldn't just look right with any other red.

Italian Red
I was at a hobby store yesterday and recall seeing Tamiya "Italian Red." I can't recall the number, but you should keep an eye out for it.

Tamiya "Italian Red."
What you see in a spray cap is not exactly what you get on model!!!

Tamiya's "Italian Red" is TS-8. I used that on the Ferrari I built.

Yes, it's a Ferrari, F1-2000, actually!
Got it for 362EEK (that's like just around $20). Love the kit.The paint is not Italian red, it's "Bright red" - probably because it's a Fomula 1 car. As a last resort I could try mixing Tamiya red and orange 5:2, but I would really love to use a spaycan... ![]() And it's a shame about Finland.

You can order from hobbylinc.com they ship international too. I get stuff from them I can't find in my local shop.

If you did send it you would have to send to via surface mail (shipping) as aircraft in general do not like pressureised containers in them.
