2002 Stratus Won't Start, Radio Won't Work
Ok, my wife is at her parent's house and called. Her Stratus won't start. She tried to start it while on the phone, and it doesn't turn over. I asked her to turn on the electicals and everything works but the radio (the cd changer did spit out a disc, however). The check oil light stays on. She checked the oil before she called me, and it was down 1 1/2 qt, so she added a qt.
She was driving the car earlier, and had no problems. It was sitting for about an hour before she tried to start it. Any solutions? It appears this is a somewhat common problem here, but no answers yet. |

Update
The strat now runs. Had AAA tow the vehicle to a mechanic my wife's family has worked with for a long time. Ran diagnostics, and it ended up being the engine module fuse. Apparently the radio runs on the same circuit.
The mechanic is going to show my wife how to change out the fuse (and give her a spare) in case this happens again. Total cost is around $60. |
