89 cav. door won't open from outside
I locked my keys inside my car(89 z-24 cavalier)..didn't wait for a locksmith and tried myself..i ended up giving up and waiting for the locksmith but while i was trying to open it. I must of hit something off or hit something i wasn't suppost to.. i can't open the door from the outside, but i can from the inside, although its harder than usual. i've never taken apart that door and don't want to wreck anything any worse..its power locks and windows too. what should i do

Remove the inside cover and look inside with a flashlight. You will see the linkage and should see where it has came loose. Just reattach it. There is not much in there to screw up. Good Luck.

do you have a picture or diagram, of how everything is suppost to be hooked up..so i can see the proper way..

wouldnt there be a hole where u just hook the link back up? There should be im thinking, if the hole is the length of the linkage it goes there. Then the doors again.
