Talking 92 accord side skirts on my hatch

sweet... yesterday my friend was gonna salvage his 92 accord lx and i was like "give me ur side skirts" and he went and took them off for me. so today i spent about an hour trimming them and fitting them onto my hatch. i gotta admit tho, they look very clean. i'l post pictures in like 10 minutes.

looks like someone glued black popcicle sticks to the side of your car. Can hardly noticie them, if you paint them white though it should be cool.

Dude, that is awesome. They look kinda wimpy though, but I'm guessing that cause of the lighting not reflecting off them. So what were the off of, a coupe or 4-door and how exactly did you get them to bolt under there? I'm stumped.

Re: 92 accord side skirts on my hatch

haha, u cant see them too well cus of the lighting... my camera really sucks. they're low enough to sort of even out the look of my car....they're even with the front bumper. they're off of a '92 accord lx 4 door. to moutnt them i had to trim the length and then i sort of melt the plastic vertical piece back on in the back and i sanded it down.....then i go the mud flaps on and then i had to cut the width a little bit and i put on little 90 degree brackets on the inside and drilled about 4 holes alongside the metal underhanging edge under the car. and then i secured the brackets onto it with nuts and bolts. IMO, i think it looks alot better now.

What country are you from? Are you in the states?

That seems like a very "euro" Civic...

Re: 92 accord side skirts on my hatch

Maybe when I'm in the area Vlados, we can meet. I'm so damn curious of the side skirts. I live in the North part of Virginia!
