how to remove steering wheel?

I have a 1995 Grand Prix and I need help removing the steering wheel. Also, where is the 12v ignition wire located at?

If you have an airbag in this car I recommend that you don't try to remove it yourself unless you are absolutely certain you know how to disable the airbags. If you don't have an airbag then simply remove the center, remove the mounting bolt and then get a steering wheel puller and remove the steering wheel. If you need to get to the ignition lock or the stalk you will also need a locking plate compressor. You can rent both from Autozone if you need to. As far as the 12v ignition wire on this car I really can't help.

Thanks for the reply. I do have an airbag in the car. The reason I want to remove the steering wheel is to see if I can locate the 12v ignition wire. I read somewhere online that the wire is somewhere under the dash board area. I'm not so sure which wire it is but thanks for the help.

wdhat are you trying to tap into that you need to find the 12v wire? There are extra spots on your fuse box to wire stuff to. the one marked ign/acc only has power with the ignition on, the one marked bat has power all the time
