Re: need help on electric cars(specs)
umm 9.6v? those are mosltly used by the cheap toy RC cars that are peices of crap. I couldnt be wrong but i havent seen any hobby grade RC cars use that voltage, all the hobby grade ones use 7.2V NiCD or NiMH batteries

Re: need help on electric cars(specs)
umm it all depends, righ tnow i have 2 3300 mah batteries, so far those are the highest run times out there, i think the 3600 cells are coming out soon, and charge time it also depends on ur charger and what amp rate u charge it at, just go look at the drift sticky, look at the battery and charger section

Re: need help on electric cars(specs)
I have a car that use 9.6v but it's not a model, it's just a toy.
On some websites, the motormakers recommend 7.2v for the most of motors. You can use 9.6 but you will speed the damaging up, ok? The NiMH are better than Nicd, cause they don't have "memory". You must not recharge after the complete discharging, as nicd, ok? The durability is bigger, too. Sorry for my beginning english :-) Carlos |

Re: need help on electric cars(specs)
Umm u know even tho its a 9.6V and u trying to get the 7.2 V, the 7.2v might be bigger, have you seen the batteries we use in the hobby grade RC's? you need to find the battery size and see what u can do with that

Re: need help on electric cars(specs)
You cant interchange the voltage. Thats like running a real car off of double a's.
