help picking exhaust

i have a 95 black thunder bird http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/631470 My exhaust has just rusted out and i was wondering what everyone thinks i should get. I personally would like it to sound like a newer v8 mustang. I have the 3.8 v6 though. I was wondering if anyone has/knows of and muffler or anything else that can give me this sound. Thanks

Re: help picking exhaust

It won't matter what exhaust you put on, it will never sound like a V8.

yea, you're never gonna get the rumble out of the 3.8 to make it sound like a mustang.

Re: help picking exhaust

Dude, that is one SHARP bird bro. I love the wheels, chrome and black is one hot combo. My fav is silver and saphire blue, or black and red. Also, i love the way the sub box looks, i've got a sealed box with 2 12's by MTX, and the same thing-like 1inch free on each side. As far as exhaust, try and listen to some on the net if you can find them. I was going to run straight pipes on my 95 4.6 bird but i RATHER the sound of my system, then the rumbling of the exhaust. BTW, are those Lund Eclipse headlight covers??? i just ordered them through team-performance.com.. Also, how secure are those, can someone just pull em off or are they back strapped to the headlight.??

Re: help picking exhaust

Go to Flowmaster's website and download the exhaust sounds that have available. Burn them do CD and play them in your car with the stereo turned up really loud!

Re: help picking exhaust

hahha I like mike75's suggestion for a better exhaust sound. download it to a disc and TRY to make people think it's yours. o yea, and what do you mean by a cookie cutter type of exhaust sound found on most V8's?
