SWAPPIN' question for the guru!!!
I have a '96 civic si with a D series engine it at the moment. I don't want to waste money on bolt on parts for this engine though, if i am going to do a swap in the near future....But heres my Questions.. I have decided on a B18c5, but do I get usdm or jdm engine...Could I get a jdm engine and use a usdm cpu? I'm worried about passing air care up here in canada, and jdm run differently????FILL me IN PLZ. Also Iknow i'm going to need the enginge and tranny, engine mounts, cpu, i know there's more but will i need tle axles??? thnz for the help

Re: SWAPPIN' question for the guru!!!
well the jdm model has more power, but will prolly be harder to get smog checked than the usdm varient. you will need axles, and the wiring harness as well.

Re: SWAPPIN' question for the guru!!!
It drops right in. You can use your existing harness since you already have v-tec or u can get use the harness that comes with the engine...if it comes with the engine.
