Ecu/pcm???

Well my engine in my neon just blew and the dealer ship is trying to blame it on me, they said there gonna check the computer to see if ive been baggin it..... i have a 95 neon sport can they realy tell my the computer????

From what I've heard lately it is just like a black box in a plane. Supposed to be an accident investigation tool. You haven't really been baggin it have you?

If it's anything like a ford, just disconnect the battery and leave the key on for about an hour, it'll wipe the memory.

Unhooking the battery won't unfortunately erase this memory. On some fords however it will erase the programmable part of the memory and upon reconnecting the battery the computer will have to relearn which will cause your engine to run like crap for a while.

All of 4-5 startups and 30 miles of driving...

I find it hard to believe that computers tell that much about how you drive, when they can't even tell the difference between a bad sensor and a screwed motor...
