Tranny ID

Trying to figure out which trannsmission my truck has. O'rielys said there are 3 different ones listed so I went outside looked on door jamb, under hood, glovebox, looked in the manual, and even got underneath to pull #'s stamped on it. Problem is non of the #'s on the tranny don't come close to the way O'riely's list them. I've worked with parts departments @ a few dealerships before but I can't translate these #'s to the type of tranny. My knowledge on trannsmissions is my weak point on autos so I appreciate any assistance given

Re: Tranny ID

What vehicle and what year is it? What does it look like (square, square with a corner "cut off", etc.)

Chuck it in the gutter and get another
You can tell by the pan. like goinbig says. the make should be stamped on the side of the case too. you can see it if you have a very small head
