t-top conversion..

anyone know about how much it would cost me to get my hardtop converted into t-tops or even a solid glass top like a vette? i dont think it would be that hard to do would it?

id say around 900 if you already have the t tops.
and around 2500 for a vette style targa top.

and t tops are expensive they are $1100 a piece for a 4th gen camaro. but you could get them cheap at a salvage yard for $200

Re: Re: t-top conversion..

t-tops brand new from GM are $700 a piece (buddy just had his stolen). the salvage yard near us wanted $300 a piece for them. i don't know how much the conversion costs but I know its really easy to do. Chevy dealership did it for a friend of mine in a couple hours. I never heard of putting a glass top (like a vette) on a camaro... it would have to be really expensive

Re: t-top conversion..

Haven't you seen one before? The "glasstop" Vettes are just the Vettes that came out during the same time of the third gen Camaro's, the ones with tpi engines.

Re: t-top conversion..

so its a targa top, only completely glass. were they all like that, or just certain ones? cause that seems it would be hella bad on body roll...

Re: t-top conversion..

I've saw them before upclose, just not really taken notice, you could probably ask someone on the Vette boards, I'll be sure to check out the next Vette that I see like that now though.
