Re: 4x4 Sketch...

Well.

I think it's too sports car-like to be an SUV. the windshield is too swept back, and the side windows are too small (that's why, I think).

I have a feeling that your drawings aren't really advancing, you should learn other drawing skills, shading, colours etc. Oh, and a new perspective :P

Good overall, but nothing new or exciting.

Re: 4x4 Sketch...

lol I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.
That is the best drawingif scene from you . lol a 4x4 post finally, I guess now i gotta start posting 4x4's, jeeps and stuff. Well, as for looks I LOVE IT, ok enough with that. And if you go into photoshop please don't put racing tires on, put big thick ones on and leave more space inbetween the wheel and the wheelwell especially in the back. There are too many newer SUV's that have little wheel to wheelwell space. I think you sould make the front and back fender flares to go down into the bumper, but that's just my . Just clean it up and it will look great. Hope to see more 4x4's from you.

Re: 4x4 Sketch...

Lotsa better, but I mean paint tones, shading and reflections.

I like the hint of a tread in the back tire, I really like that. New design incorporates such details, and you're on the bandwagon. Don't overdo it, how it is now is fine (just add it to the front). The little blips on the tires near the ground (where the light hits them) is where you should see this feature prominantly.

Design wise, it's looking better, but I don't like the front grille. I think standard grate-slats are now a thing of the past in modern cars.

Yes!!!

Or markers, or pastel! Just you have to try something more than PS. The final product looks more professional than a PS render.

Re: 4x4 Sketch...

I think thats one of your best renders. i still think you should do more with the tires, but make them look rugged and tough. and maybe just a touch of hubcab...

Re: Re: 4x4 Sketch...

I really like the design. In the first sketch the headlights look like the Benz SUV Hussein drew for the PS Tut., i like how you changed them in the following renderings. I don't like your roofs that much anymore. Try some other design for the windshield, windows, and roof.
