Master/Slave Clutch Cylinders? Faulty?
Hi everyone. just a quick question. Recently my clutch system failed and I found out through this forum that it was either the Master or the Slave cylinder. Today I removed them both from the vehicle. I have ordered the new replacement parts. I was just wondering if there is a way to tell which one is the problem now that they are on the bench? Thanks...

Re: Master/Slave Clutch Cylinders? Faulty?
you could have checked them in the car. if you look at the pedal rod going into the master it should be completely dry if there is any fluid going past the seal it is bad
same with the slave there is a rubber dust boot protecting the plunger if you pull it back it should be dry if it is wet it is leaking |
