How to: replace center console light on 2000 Cav?
Thanks for the help ahead of time.
I have a 2000 Cavalier and the center console shift light is out. Can you tell me the replacement part that I need. Also, how do i get to it? Thanks again. |

Re: How to: replace center console light on 2000 Cav?
looks like there are about 3 or 4 screws to remove to get the top of teh console off. Take the shifter handle off, remove the screws and lift the console up and out of the way. IF you have power window switches mounted in the console, you'll have to unplug them too. should be a 194 "peanut" bulb available at any auto parts store. just grasp the bulb and pull it straight out, don't twist.
