What would u recommend??

I want new tires and rims.....I have the standard tires and hub caps on my vehicle, I want something just a little wider and nicer. Is 17x7.5 rims a good start? I'm no xpert on this...so what would u suggest??

go to a competent tire shop and they should be able to help you out. That way you don't end up with some bling bling that rubs

Re: What would u recommend??

on a 98 you can fit up to a 19 inch with out modifications to the fender wells. Just be aware its not the norm and the weight can strain the tranny due to the added weight it has to move.

A very common size for the 3rd gen cav is.....

17 x 7 w/ 42mm offset
18x7 w / 40 mm offset
18 x 8 w/ 35 mm offset

Tire with on the actual tires Suggestions so you don;t have any rub I would suggest

17's 215 or 205
18's 215 or 205

with the 17's some people claim they have 225 with no rub but it also depends on the lowering done to the car.

I personally Hvae 17x7 with 215/45/17 and they have a very nice stance and grio the raod very nicely.

also as stated talk to a tire place and they can set you up with what you need.

What is the tire stock size for a 1998 Z24? I have always liked the way they look on a Z24's.
