Need some help plz

Was wondering if anyone could help me out with some stuff?

I gotta convice my parents because they will be the ones co-signin for my loan since i just started a new job so im not gettin enough hrs yet to get the loan by myself.

Everytime i find a good mx-3 it seems like everyone is tryin to stop me from gettin it.
So i was wonderin if anyone could help me out with puttin some facts/stats or anything that would prove its a good car to buy.
They are also tellin me to get a "newer" car that wont have problems with it and that parts will be easier to find.
So like anything ppl can think of that would maybe help me get them to smartin the hell up! would be great.

Thanks

well... I gotta tell you that when you buy your MX3.. check everything. Take it out of a ride and pay attention to every tap, rattle, and noise. Because MX3s are expensive to repair sometimes. And when it rains, it seems to pour. lol. Check to make sure than there isnt any oil sprayed around in the engine bay and such. I have a lemon, and lemme tell ya it aint fun sometimes. But in the end it all works out. Good luck.

Re: Need some help plz

well the MX-3 is like any jap car, if something breaks it costs more to fix but less goes wrong with Jap cars over American cars (on adverage) but the MX-3 is a hit or miss car... it's got alot of potential with alot of modding possibilities, you just have to work hard REALLY hard. most parts you can get from Junkyards... the only real look outs also are the clutch and exhaust system (behind the cat) mainly because that part rusted out so it was either pay 400 USD and get OEM or 300USD for AM Pacesetter catback (I went AM) lol basically when it comes to the MX-3 see what AM options are there first before you just put OEM in.
